I should probably do a for-play disk swap just after a backup some day real soon now. I'd like to see if I actually know the procedure!
Downside here is that that means one of my spare drives (the one I pull for the test) will now be marked as part of the set, which may complicate things when I need to use it as a spare later. I suppose I might be able to remember to write over the start with dd or something, to make it look innocent again.
I think I've got hot-swap with the current software version, so that's worth testing too.
