Staples has a Samsung color laser on sale for ~250 with a 150 rebate.

I read that as -250, and got all excited. Alas, it was a tilde.

Be aware, though, that Samsung printers have notoriously expensive toner cartridges. On the order as the same price as the original printer.

I was just thinking "and do they have $50 toner cartridges? Or worse?"

Most laser cartridges are more than $50, or at least any I've seen. The flip side is that they generally last for a very long time.

Si!

And it only needs four of 'em...

What size paper can they take?

Standard letter or longer. There are ones that take up to tabloid, but they are not as cheap.

Dat's a good deal as long as the color cartridge is less than the printer (or even the same...color is pricey!).

Our Lexmark B&W still prints great and we replace the cartridge every 5-6 years for about the cost of a new printer ($100-$160). Seems like a great deal compared to inkjets.
