Shrimp Truck!

1- minnehaha: Crabmeat Casanova

2 - lsanderson: Salad with crawfish tails

Spring mix greens, dill, tossed with with EVOO, fresh lime juice, mustard (stolen from minnehaha's fridge), rooster sauce, NaCl. Crawfish tails quickly cooked (after I noticed the bag said "Not fully cooked") with a splash of cognac (stolen from a bottle found beside minnehaha's stove) and a big spritz o' rooster sauce (also stolen from minnehaha's fridge) -- they turned out hotter than I'd planned, but worked well off the lime-dressed greens. Dressed greens served with a triad garnish of red -- grape tomatoes, red pepper slices, and crawfish.

3 - minnehaha: Fried oysters with dandelion greens and ramps, balsamic vinegar on the side

4 - minnehaha: Korean shrimp pancakes, seafood soy sauce on the side

5 - bkremser: Roasted Shrimp with Champagne-Shallot Sauce Beurre Blanc served on with green beans.

6 - pameladean: Roasted asparagus dish with ginger and sesame oil

7 - dd_b: Red-cooked shrimp: fairly spicy, garlic and peppers and hot bean sauce; stir-fry with white rice

8 - pegkerr: Cheese and fruit with truffle honey

I'll have you know this post made me want ramps something fierce and then be sad because I had no ieda where to get them in this ghodforsakenhellhole. The farmers markets don't open for a couple weeks yet.

Then I went to Whole Foods for other things and they beckoned to me from across the greenery. They're now in my ground lamb kabobs. So happy.

We got our ramps at the Wedge. K slow sauteed them on very low heat -- they were delicious.
