Woke up too early this morning. Loafed around afterwards and watched BBCAmerica -- Changing Rooms and two gardening shows. Should have hit the post office before it got busy.

The mock oranges are blooming full bore in the back yard. They're gorgeous, tall cascading mounds of white flowers. Must get picture today.

MNSTF meeting at Polly's today. Gaylaxian ice cream social before that I may attend.

Went to see The Bourne Identity last night with Joe, Andrew, & Romeo. I think senility must be setting in. I ordered the ticket over the Internet thinking we'd be at the Eden Prairie theatre. Left work at 6:30 to get there by seven and discovered my ticket had not made it; what was worse, they were sold out. Grumpily, I walked waay back to my car for the confirmation letter I'd printed out, more than ready to raise hell with the young girl in back of the customer service counter. Walked back to the theatre and noticed that the names didn't match. Oops, maybe it was the other theatre at the mall that I bought it at. Walked down, nope -- they were not showing The Bourne Identity. Started walking back to the car. Oh the theatre's in Eagan, but that's where I work! Drove down 494 to Eagan, ran to the wrong theatre close to work and then dashed off for the one I'd bought tickets for knowing that Joe & Andrew were convinced I'd deserted them. Ran into the theatre after a few wrong turns here and there, and scuttled into a seat convinced they were at Eden Prairie. About ten minutes after I got there, Andrew poked me on the shoulder and asked if I wanted to sit in back with them. WoW, teleportation -OR- sometimes two screwups make a right. Anyway, the movie was fun, awesome car chase scene. Matt Damon is still cute, and I really had enjoyed it. We wuz all the bad guys, which makes for a nicer movie in a sad kind of way.

As we were leaving, Romeo decided he simply had to see Scooby-Doo. He offered to buy the tickets even. Free ticket? Heck, I'll watch almost anything at 9:40 Friday night when I'm at a theatre, so back we went to watch it. Too much makeup, but it was not nearly as awful as I'd imagined. (And to think I was giving Jill a hard time about it at work!)
