Do right-wingers want to tell everyone else how to run their lives? Meanwhile, they often do all the things they tell others not to do. There must me something I'm missing here.

There are people on *both* sides of the political fence who are convinced they know best what all of us should do (and who believe in "do as I say, not as I do."

If everyone who is not a direct stakeholder in my life would stop telling me how to act or what to be, I'd be damned happy.

There's no shortage of left-wing hypocrites who try to tell everyone else what to do, either. Easy places to start are politicians and the press.
