Brisk!

It's a brisk -11.3 degrees fondly Fahrenheit this morning. But, the sun is shining, the snow is sparkling -- it's too bad it's too damned cold to go outside. There's wind chill advisories out, with a mild WNW breeze at 3 mph, a humidity of 68%, the wind chill is a cool -20 degrees (which is getting closer and closer to the magic point of -40 where both Fahrenheit and Celsius agree). We're expected to gradually warm to a mild -5 degrees today, before dipping back down to -10 tonight.

It's only -3 here but with wind chill we get to around -30 cause we live in Breezy Town. The wind is quite loud.

We had that wind yesterday -- EEK! It's back. Up to 14 and a windchill of -33.

All transmit temperatures in tenths. My WeatherBug reads the station at Washburn High School, where it's currently -6.6.

Well, we sure enough did get a real MN winter this year. None of those whimpy, you can have a week to BBQ wonders we seen so often recently. On the sparse end for snow, but pleanty of wind chill and bitter cold.

I have the National Weather Service assigned frequency in my car radio and it only offers whole degrees.
