I see your humor, but in the OP's defense, I've met one psychic who I felt could legitimately claim the title. She was extremely intuitive and observant, and really helped me to turn my life around. So they do exist, but they're rare.

yes - the psychics family on Hennipin helped get me out of a bad depression back in 1996 - it wasn't that I wanted them to tell me the future: I needed someone to assure me that I was going to make it & I was okay & to keep trying - I was in such a gloom I actually forgot months of that year- I can not remember Feb to May. Like, I came out of the depression & I had like, 6 write-ups at my job for being late by 3 or 4 hours - and they didn't fire me 'cause I was good at my job (sales) but I had -signed them- and -- did not know I had any writeups-- it was a really bizarre experience to get shown a sheef of papers you've signed but you didn't know existed!

anyhows - then I went to a counselor & they said I had "a spontaneous recovery /i.e. out of a deep depression wo/drugs or counseling" -- but I know it was finding someone I could talk to, who wouldn't go down on my official medical records or anything _ who I could trust wouldn't talk about me with anyone - that trust was essential. (shrug).
