What: Re-Release Event
1. Private screening of newly created 35mm print of the film Purple Rain
2. Sneak preview of the 20th Anniversary Purple Rain DVD bonus features (DVD release date: August 24th)
3. Purple Rain Costume Competition (Dust off your sequins, gas up the motorcycle, and show your love by coming dressed as your favorite Purple Rain character! Cash prizes awarded)
4. Programming line-up for the Central Standard Film Festival (CSFF) will be announced

When: Saturday, August 21, 7 p.m. (Doors open at 6 p.m.)
Where: First Avenue, 701 First Avenue, Minneapolis, MN
Cost: Tickets available at First Avenue box office for $7 in advance - $10 at the door

This event, developed through a partnership between independent Feature Project Minneapolis/St. Paul (IFP MSP) and Warner Home Video, and sponsored by Mix 104.1 and KSTC Channel 45, is a fundraiser for the Central Standard Film Festival.
