Have return code for faucet. Must get shipped...

Article o sake in today's ny times. THE POUR. Sake Takes Its Place by the Reds. By ERIC ASIMOV. Article. Also much on okra, a veg that has not so far won my heart. Article. There's a recipe for sashimi, tuna and green apples that looks interesting. Article.

Ordered lights for the bathroom. I knew I was going retro or chic, but gave up and went chic. How can you not love a company named Illuminating Experiences? Still have one to get for the upstairs bathroom, which will have to be retro.
Thong was so happy he found one fixture for cheap... it's just trying to match the glass and look that's driving me crazy. And check on the vanity. Also must get the branches up off the ground in the back yard. I took after the mock orange with a hedge trimmer Monday. It's been leaning it's way into the yard, and when the yard is as big as a postage stamp to start with, that's not good. Wish I could grow traveler's palms here, but I don't think it would like the winter.

Coincidentally, my family had okra last night, along with catfish and black-eyed pea fritters. But then we are from the Ozarks.

Nope, don't sound like it...

;-) No bullhead fritters? Black-eyed peas have not quite made it much this far north either... you might like the recipes with the okra in the Times... they look good.

I absolutely loathe okra, but that sashimi recipe sounds really interesting. Thanks for the link!
