Long lines snaked through the hotel from registration on the first floor, filling the Tower courtyard, up the stairs, and back to the upstairs ballroom foyer.

I spent a brief time in panels, a shorter time at opening ceremonies, and most time at the parties. Home around 12:30, which is quite early for me.

Best panel: Paul Cornell -- One on One

Best blow: When alisgray asked if his book was available in the Dealer's Room, he tossed the British copy to her and said, "Here, have this one." The book hit the fan sitting in front of her, who was probably glad it was a paperback.
