From Dung to Coffee Brew With No Aftertaste


A civet farm in Liwa, a town in Sumatra, where the catlike animals eat coffee cherries. Their droppings contain coffee beans fermented in their stomachs.

Y'know, I'm as big a gourmand as anyone, but I've got to say the notion of civet coffee triggers a big ol' DO NOT WANT response. Not to mention musings on the decline and fall of the Roman Empire ...
