It's a lost cause, but if "under God" is so inoffensive, then why not substitute other deity's names depending on the month of the year? "One nation, under Allah" could be September, "Demeter" for October, "Kali" for November, "Mars" for December, "God" for January, "Satan" for February, "Earth Mother" for March, "Krishna" for April, "Confucius" for May, "Buddha" for June ... and so on around the calendar.
On another note, how about forming a fundamentalist Islamic School for Cincinnati? Where are those Satanists when you really need them...

They were the ones who didn't pass the drug screening tests, don'tchya know. Hmm how else could we be better spending that money. Hundreds of dollars for each test wasted on the population least likey proven over and over not to be using in the first place. Not to mention that our children have no god damn rights. Things I despise about our government and school system.

Or they could just take those words out and replace it with "one nation under republicans" or "One nation under the man" or "One nation under smog" or "one nation under consumerism" or one nation under a spell" or "one nation under sky" or "one nation under the collective unconscious" or "one nation under.......

Or just go back to the way it was originally written, "one nation, indivisible," before Congress got their paws on it in the '50s.
