I Can Haz DVD Burner

I yanked the DVD burner from an old Sony laptop that hit the Rapture prematurely.

Ordered a cheap dvd case over the internets -- who knew they came with and without faceplates?

Stuck the dvd burner in it. Realized the Sony faceplate would not fit, and extracted the faceplate rather gingerly last night.

Put off hacking the faceplate until this morning, when I went down and wailed on it with a dremel.

Put the two screws in the back. I now haz a dvd burner for the Baby^tm Asus.
