I can't agree entirely.

Tiger Woods doesn't owe me anything. It also follows that I don't owe him anything either. At one time, he earned my respect and he sold that respect in the form of endorsements and sponsorships. But I don't owe him respect, nor does anyone else.

But he did sell that respect in the form of endorsements and sponsorships knowing it was a misrepresented product. I think he owes at least an apology to the buyers.
